So Close
Episodes one through five are finished. Sound, colour correction, music. Everything.
Unless somebody tells me I'm out of my mind and stuff needs to change, the next five weeks are ready to go.
Now I need to start editing the sixth episode. It's going to be a doozy, but I'm excited to get started.
Can't wait for Tuesday!
P.S. Don't forget to listen to CKUW tomorrow at 3pm. Then tell me I have a silly radio voice. It will be like a fun game.

The Home Stretch
Hello all!
I just finished a final edit and colour correction of Episode 1. Once I get approval from my cohorts that it doesn't look or sound like garbage, we will be ready to launch on Tuesday. Huzzah!
In other exciting news, I (Rory) will be on the CKUW radio program "focus" Monday April 19th at 3:00 pm. It is a show in which host Matthew Etches talks to local filmmakers about their projects as well as their influences. It's a great thing to have in this city and I applaud Matthew for doing it. I am also honoured to be asked to do it.
So listen to it! You can check it out on the web here: http://ckuw.ca/index.php/listen
Or you can use that box in your house with the knobs that doesn't make pictures. 95.9 FM in Winnipeg! Listen to me sound like an uneducated nerd talking about Mulholland Drive and Chasing Amy! You'll be able to make fun of me! Woo!
P.S. We were the 62nd most viewed Comedian in Canada again with our second trailer and are the 72nd most subscribed this month. You are all wonderful for supporting something that you haven't even seen yet. Thanks a million.

Updates A-Plenty
Good evening friends!
Just wanted to throw a quick update your way letting you know that second passes and music is now finished for episodes 1-4 and a rough cut and some music is done for episode 5. Starting tomorrow I will colour correct episode 1 so as to be sure that it is ready for Tuesday's launch.
Oh and I almost forgot! (of course I didn't) A second trailer cut by Natalee Dacquisto to get you through the last week! Enjoy

Running around after a decade of sitting in front of a computer HURTS
After the weekend off to celebrate the remaining two weeks of Seb's bachelorhood. And destroying our fragile, out of shape, artist bodies in the process, it is back to the grind today.
Most of it has been spent figuring out the best way to encode the episodes in order to give you beautiful people the best quality free entertainment.
Let nobody say it's only about the dick jokes! It's also about GOOD LOOKING dick jokes.

Music Adventures
I have finished second passes of episodes 1, 2 and 4 and am now working on leveling the audio and finding music for these episodes.
"Why aren't you editing the other three episodes?" they asked.
"I'm mixing it up so as not to go stir crazy." he replied, masking his irritation.
Finding music to use under people yapping at each other is a lot more difficult than I would have expected. Too many lyrics means distraction from the more important words. Mine.
Back to editing!

ADR- Automated Dialogue Replacement
A rough assembly of episode 4 is now complete. Why not 3? Cause 4 was easier that's why. Mind your own business.
Dan is coming in for a tiny bit of ADR work tomorrow and then all of the elements of episode 1 will be in place and it will just need fine tuning to be ready for 4/20.

A Revision
We finished out the day at #42 most viewed Comedian in Canada. That's pretty darn awesome for just having a teaser up. Thanks to everyone who watched. (I swear I only watched it like 15 times)
Last day of shooting today. It ought to be doozy.

We're number 50! We're number 50!
Between last night and a quick pickup at our one other location this morning, we only have one day of shooting left tomorrow. It will be sad to not hang out every second day, but it will be nice to get some sleep and finish editing.
Also I'm sure my roommates will appreciate having the house back.
In fantastic news, the teaser which went up yesterday has made us the #50 most viewed Canadian Comedian on Youtube for today. That's pretty awesome. Hopefully the series itself can continue that kind of momentum!
Pictures from last night! See the rest at Facebook as usual.

The Never Ending Stooooooory
Day three of shooting went wonderfully. We are halfway through the shoot and are *gasp* AHEAD OF SCHEDULE! :o
All the footage is looking great and one whole episode is already cut. Who knew internet movies could be made this fast.
Apparently when you are unemployed you have tons of time to get shit done.
Who knew bread could be funny?

Daily Affirmation
I'm good enough. I'm smart enough. And gosh darn it, a rough assembly of Episode #2 is complete.
Not to be tooting any horns that I may personally be in possession of, but it's pretty darn funny.
Three weeks from Tuesday is 4/20. And we all know what that means...
...that I have a lot of work ahead of me in the next three weeks.
Day Two: Electric- That joke is tired.
And so am I! *segway*
Day two of shooting wrapped. Episode 1 Shot. Hilarity ensued. I am exhausted and will now fall in to a deep coma.
Good night world!
